Red Heifer is Born After 2,000 Years

A little known but extremely important prophetic event took place recently in Israel. It is the birth of a red heifer (no spots, no blemishes, no white hair). Why is this so important you ask? Well let me tell you why.
In order for a new temple to be rebuilt on the Temple Mount a purification ceremony must take place upon the Mount in order to make it clean or ceremonially pure. With the birth of this new red heifer this ceremony can now occur for the first time in over 2,000 years.
Let’s first look at some history in order to understand the significance of this event. Moses was the first to sacrifice a red heifer to the Lord for purification. From the time that Moses received the commandment of the red heifer until the destruction of the second temple in 70 AD there have been 9 red heifers sacrificed in Israel.
The Mishna, the first written redaction of the Jewish oral traditions or the oral Torah and the first major Rabbinical work, states that there will be a total of 10 red heifers in human history. The 10th is considered to be Messianic and will be sacrificed by Messiah Himself! Praise God!
In his commentary on to the Mishna, the great Jewish sage Maimonides ends with this statement “and the tenth red heifer will be accomplished by the King, the Messiah; may He be revealed speedily, Amen.”
We know from Scripture that a Temple will be rebuilt soon in order for the Antichrist to commit the abomination of desolation (Matt. 24:15; Dan. 9:27). John talks about the rebuilt Temple in Revelation 11:1-5.
So now that a red heifer is on the scene for the first time in over 2,000 years what does this mean for the times we live in? Is our the era that will see the Messiah: Jesus appear.
Keep looking up!
